Facebook Company Brand

In 2019, we launched the Facebook Company brand that brought together the family of apps (Facebook app, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Workplace, Portal and Calibra) under one banner. Starting with building a new visual identity that represented all these apps, we established a look, tone and feel via a photography library developed over multiple global shoots which evolved as we showed up in 2020 in multiple formats at different moments: to provide resources during Covid, to showcase skating as a new sport in the 2020 Olympics, a campaign to support minority-owned businesses, to shine a light on the resilience of the LatinX community, for Pride among others. Beyond any broadcast deliverables, each campaign delivered multiple social media formats including 360 Videos, Instagram Stories, Facebook Carousels, AR Filters and Instant Experiences among others. Never Lost

As Covid-19 impacted the world, Facebook developed a resource hub for access to medical information and updates and went live with this video content to drive people to the hub.

To mark Black History Month we launched the ‘Written By’ campaign centering story-telling around the movements started by the Black Community on our family of apps and the people progressing those movements forward. To show our commitment to the Black community and reinforce that Black history is not simply written in the 28 days of February - rather all year long, we launched our Anthem video on March 1.

Resilience

In honor of Latin X Heritage Month, we highlighted stories of resilience across the community and their influence on the history and culture of the United States via multiple social media formats including 360 Video, Instagram Stories, Facebook Carousels and Instant Experiences.
